Start your career as a Deck Crew Member and take on essential responsibilities in supporting the vessel's operational and safety requirements. From assisting with navigation to maintaining ship cleanliness and readiness, you’ll be a key contributor to the crew’s success.

Working closely with the Deck Department, you’ll perform duties like mooring, maintenance of deck equipment, and cargo operations. Your role is vital in ensuring the safety and efficiency of shipboard functions.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, adaptability to dynamic environments, and a passion for maritime operations.

Position Functions:

Assist in navigation, including lookout duties and standing watch as directed by supervisors.
Handle mooring lines and anchor operations to ensure the vessel’s secure docking and undocking.
Perform regular maintenance of deck equipment, including painting, cleaning, and repairs.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all deck areas to maintain operational readiness.
Support cargo loading and unloading operations as per safety protocols.
Participate in emergency drills and assist with implementing safety measures during emergencies.
Follow all maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with other departments to support the overall efficiency of shipboard operations.

Position Minimum Requirements:

Basic knowledge of maritime operations is preferred but not mandatory.
Physically fit to handle physically demanding tasks, including working in various weather conditions.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment with excellent communication skills.
Commitment to maintaining safety standards and adhering to operational protocols.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in conversational English is required.
