As a Guest Service Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring a seamless and memorable stay for guests. Your primary responsibility will be to offer excellent customer service, assisting with check-ins, check-outs, and responding to guest needs with efficiency and enthusiasm.

You will assist guests with inquiries, handle reservations, and ensure that all hotel operations run smoothly, providing guests with the highest level of hospitality throughout their stay.

Position Functions:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and special requests.
  • Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean and welcoming at all times.
  • Participate in training, safety drills, and meetings as required by hotel management.

Position Minimum Requirements:

  • Fluency in conversational English is required; additional languages are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a guest service or hotel role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A positive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience Level

At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.

English Proficiency

Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with guests and addressing their needs.

Physical Stamina

Physically capable of standing for long periods and managing light physical tasks.

Problem-Solving Abilities
